Fogo Island Inn Newfoundland / Canada The wildly romantic hotel with 29 guest rooms, sauna, cinema and library was designed by local architect Todd Saunders. The furniture, textiles and fixtures are also produced on the island. Floor-to-ceiling windows make the house one with nature. Fogo Island Inn has launched several ocean ethic initiatives, including one for sustainable cod fishing.
