Villa Nicoletta
The sun shines on the veranda in the morning, the lake glistens during the day and you can count the stars at night: at Villa Nicoletta in Altaussee, soul and spirit have space to breathe.
idea: preserve the old, integrate the new in style. The original summer house from the
The original 19th century summer house, the former "Villa Seeklause", was restored with the help of regional craftsmen. Wooden cladding, half-timbered elements and windows were restored true to the original. What was worth preserving remained - and what was missing was sensitively added.
Sustainable in every respect
Geothermal energy, sustainable technology and natural materials make the house habitable all year round. The interior breathes elegance: five double rooms with en suite bathrooms for up to ten guests, warm wooden floors, handmade furniture, old linen fabrics and antiques. In the salon is the original grand piano, which according to tradition was played by Clara Schumann and Johannes Brahms. The kitchen, dining room and bar create the atmosphere of a temporary home. The villa is also an art space: the collection on display includes works by Maria Lassnig, Karel Appel, Oskar Laske and Martha Jungwirth, among others. There is also space here for young, unknown artists. Art is not decoration, it is identity, it gives rooms soul. The private spa area with sauna, relaxation room and onsen bath invites you to regenerate. The convertible attic becomes a yoga, fitness or cinema room. A garden gate leads directly to the lake; the villa lives with the seasons.
