Hotel motto
If walls could talk, the Hotel MOTTO would have a lot to tell. First mentioned in 1665, the magnificent building has been a magnet for artists and individualists for centuries. Today, the former Hotel Kummer in Vienna's 6th district bears the signature of renowned architect Arkan Zeytinoglu and his team - with a new mash-up of music, trendy culture and culinary delights.
Extravagant mix
While the architecture of the eight-storey building is characterized by Renaissance and Baroque, the sensuality of Art Deco meets geometric simplicity and industrial style in the 91 rooms and suites. Fabric-covered walls with floral patterns and carpets and tiles specially designed for the hotel by the renowned Arkan Zeytinoglu Architects form the backdrop for original vintage furniture. Nothing here is off the peg, everything is carefully designed; Schlacher also bought various unique pieces from the Ritz Hotel in Paris at auction.
Smoother sound, cool drinks
The heart of the Hotel MOTTO is the Chez Bernard - Restaurant et Bar - flooded with light, furnished with lush greenery and spread over two floors. The cuisine is modern and unpretentious, Austrian dishes with French and North African influences. The highlight is the green oasis on the spectacular roof terrace with a view over the rooftops of Vienna. Whether for brunch, cozy after-work drinks or the after-show party - DJs from Vienna provide a smooth live sound. The outdoor seating area of the in-house boulangerie MOTTO Brot also invites you to take a breather - attracted by the aroma of fresh baguettes.
