Grand Ferdinand

At the Grand Ferdinand, Viennese elegance celebrates a brilliant comeback with 186 rooms on the magnificent Ringstrasse. The good life has been celebrated here in a glamorous and contemporary way since 2015. The Grand Ferdinand also enriches Viennese gastronomy with three restaurants, Meissl & Schadn and Gulasch & Söhne on the ground floor and the Limón restaurant on the rooftop. Florian Weitzer's hotel also scores with spectacular details - from the green oasis in the inner courtyard to the pool high above the rooftops of Vienna!

The motto at the Grand Ferdinand is not to think backwards, but to celebrate tradition forwards. Lobmeyr chandeliers, Viennese silver cutlery, French champagne and "the great Viennese cuisine" form the framework.

The Grand Ferdinand has several suites, but also a "dormitory" with a chandelier and bunk beds made of polished mahogany wood for just 50 euros per bed, which can also be booked via Airbnb. Weitzer sees a hotel as a cultural mission that should be accessible to everyone.

The hotel offers 186 stylish and air-conditioned rooms and suites. If you want something really sumptuous, book the expansive Ferdinand Suite: a virtuoso arrangement with a round sofa, exotic-looking palm trees, a free-standing Art Nouveau bathtub and private access to the rooftop with pool and views over the rooftops of Vienna. Those who prefer things "simpler" will also feel at home in the other rooms with rain shower, chaise longue or champagne bar.

Traditionally delicious

At Meissl & Schadn , great Viennese cuisine with local classics such as Wiener Schnitzel, Tafelspitz or Metternich-style meat loafs is experiencing a revival on the Ring. The Gulasch & Söhne has a dignified and cozy atmosphere. Here you can enjoy Lahner sausages with mustard and horseradish or apple strudel and cream slices. Here you can sip the very best champagne and a tasty pint of Velkopopovický beer. The Restaurant Limón , which opened on the rooftop at the end of 2023, promotes a lifestyle full of indulgence and savoir-vivre - as an ode to the south, which is reflected in the Mediterranean ambience, on the terrace and not least on the menu, which combines the best of French, Spanish and Italian cuisine.
