The Steirerhof
Not far away and yet far away from everyday life: surrounded by 60,000m² of natural gardens, with views over the surrounding hills of Eastern Styria, the Steirerhof in Bad Waltersdorf proves to be a paradise for spa lovers, golfers and gourmets.
Thermal wellness
With its numerous healing springs, Styria is considered Austria's health oasis. One of them feeds the numerous pools in the wellness landscape. Stored at a depth of 1,200 meters for over 10,000 years, the thermal water bubbles to the surface at 62°C and is considered one of the highest quality and gentlest thermal healing waters in Austria. It has proven its worth as a supportive treatment for vegetative exhaustion, general immune system weakness, cardiovascular disorders, rheumatism, respiratory diseases and musculoskeletal disorders.
A total of 7 pools and 10 different saunas are fed by the precious water in the over 3,000 m² bathing landscape and guarantee wellness enjoyment at any time of year and in any weather. Special features include the outdoor sports pool with a magnificent view and the 200 m² natural pool for nude swimmers only. The "Ladies Spa & Sauna" is especially for women. Numerous beauty and body treatments complete the wellness program.
The Steirerhof Recreation is a preventive care institute, traditional physical institute and innovative competence center for rehabilitation with a focus on "heart" and "back" as well as sports medicine.
Golf and enjoyment
Golfers at the Steirerhof have a wonderful view of the 18-hole golf course in Bad Waltersdorf, just three minutes away. The par 72 course is suitable for both professionals and beginners. As the founding hotel of the Bad Waltersdorf Golf Club, the Steirerhof offers the ideal combination of enjoyment and golf: Steirerhof guests receive guaranteed tee times and a 25% discount on green fees.
Speaking of indulgence: to bring body and soul into perfect harmony, the indulgent cuisine offers gourmet delights throughout the day. In addition to a breakfast and cake buffet and light lunch, in the evening there is a 5-course menu of your choice from classic regional, Styrian-Mediterranean, indulgent vegetarian cuisine or a fish dish, accompanied by fine wines.
