The exclusive accommodations are furnished in the traditional Alpbach timber-frame style and are largely crafted from Swiss stone pine. This precious wood is said to exude a subtle fragrance that soothes the heart and ensures an undisturbed, deep, and restful sleep. The wellness suites—particularly the four penthouse suites—rise above the rest of the collection. Whether from the freestanding bathtub or the loggia opening onto the balcony, the sweeping vista over the rooftops of Alpbach and the inky sky studded with stars is always included. The pièce de résistance is the Böglerhof Deluxe Suite: This 75-square-metre retreat captivates with light Swiss stone pine, exquisite fabrics, a tiled stove, a spacious living area with a cosy sitting nook, and a south-facing balcony affording a magnificent panoramic vista.

Natural materials, abundant natural light, wood, and fine fabrics create an intimate ambience that playfully marries tradition with modernity. Guests enjoy ample open space, naturally including the great outdoors. One of the highlights at the pure nature spa—adults only—is the expansive natural swimming lake with a year-round heated outdoor pool and a magnificent mountain panorama. The organic herbal sauna, the steam bath, and the event sauna provide indulgent moments of rejuvenation accompanied by a magnificent vista of Alpbach and the Galtenberg. Within the event sauna, two diverse infusions are on offer each day. In the steam bath, we pamper you with a body scrub three times a week. The cold-water grotto, fed by our own spring that rises directly at the Gratlspitz, provides the perfect way to cool off afterward.

A standout feature is the “Fuggerstube,” where the ambience alone is commanding: the room dates to the 15th century, has survived two fires at the Böglerhof, and remains preserved in its original state to this day. The Fuggerstube has been awarded three toques by Gault Millau. The resort’s own wine cellar also houses over 150 varieties of top-quality national and international wines—with a focus on exquisite local vintages that have become a household name among wine connoisseurs in recent years.
