HYPERION Hotel Salzburg
On July 2022, the HYPERION Hotel Salzburg opened as the first hotel of the premium HYPERION brand in Austria. The luxurious hotel is located in the listed Palais Faber, an ensemble in the Viennese Ringstrasse style from 1874, in Salzburg's Neustadt district.
The 115 rooms and suites are elegantly furnished and offer a high level of comfort. Decorated in subtle shades of gray, blue and black, complemented by elegant details such as brass lamps, with high-quality bathrooms and sophisticated room technology, they meet the high demands of guests.
The Gaumenfreund restaurant spoils guests with a varied, international menu and exquisite wines. To mark the 60th anniversary of the Hollywood music film "The Sound of Music", which was filmed in Salzburg and won five Oscars, achieving cult status, chef Michael Daus has created a special "Salzburg Sound Menu", which takes gourmets on a culinary journey in the footsteps of the Trapp family.
What also makes a stay at HYPERION Salzburg so attractive is its central location. Situated directly opposite Mirabell Palace with its beautiful gardens and the Kongresshaus, the historic DomQuartier, Getreidegasse with Mozart's birthplace and Salzburg Cathedral are also not far away and within easy walking distance. The historic center on the other side of the Salzach, which is a World Heritage Site, is also a five to ten minute walk away.
