A hideaway in the heart of the festival city, which has its very own charm thanks to its noticeable attention to detail and personal service. Privately run by the Wiesinger family, the hideaway consists of two buildings that were erected around 1900 and converted into modernized houses with great effort and a stylistically confident hand, without counteracting the historical flair. The Villa Auersperg can be seen to the left (standing in front of it) and the Hotel Auersperg to the right. The many creative details and the high quality in all areas make both a real eye-catcher. What's more, you are right in the heart of Salzburg and yet in absolute peace and quiet. The rooms, some of which have been newly refurbished, are not only timelessly tasteful, but also surprise with modern design classics in their style and furnishings. In addition, the 55 rooms offer the best comfort, state-of-the-art music systems, tea and coffee bar.
The absolute flagship of the Auersperg is the beautiful garden (recently filled with the relaxing buzz of bees and with a view of the hotel's first honey), which is a fantastic retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city. You can also enjoy a seasonal organic breakfast here. A morning starter with ingredients from organic and mostly regional sources. Much of the food is homemade on site, such as cakes, juices, spreads, the warm Ayurvedic muesli, compotes and the ghee for cooking and baking. This effort has also been certified with the "Bio Austria" label. At the Auersperg, fair principles apply not only to the culinary offerings, but also to the overall hotel philosophy. The focus here is on people, and it is precisely for this reason that this very special retreat has been awarded a certificate in "Economy for the Common Good".
Another highlight (in the best sense of the word) is the city spa on the hotel's roof terrace. An exquisite refuge of peace and relaxation including sauna and steam bath. The spa is reserved exclusively for hotel guests, who can relax on the spacious sun terrace after their treatments and massages. Professional yoga classes are also offered.
The Hotel & Villa Auersperg does not have a restaurant, but it does have the A*Bar. It serves toasted delicacies, homemade soups and Austrian antipasti specialties as well as the famous homemade Auersperg cakes. In the evening, a select range of drinks and cocktails is on offer.
