Austria's oldest family business, the Romantik Spa Hotel Elixhauser Wirt, is now being run by Michaela Gmachl in the 23rd generation and is located just a few kilometers from the festival city of Salzburg. The picturesque village of Elixhausen, with its breathtaking mountain panorama and plenty of green space, provides the perfect setting for the 4-star superior hotel, which impresses with its traditional hospitality. However, the tradition-conscious family business does not limit itself to its own past, but also leaves plenty of room for modernity. Traditional parlours with tiled stoves and cosy corner benches meet bold colors and design accents. 35 modern rooms, suites and lofts shine in a new design and invite you to linger. On 1500m2 you will find peace and relaxation in the Spa Horizont and can enjoy the breathtaking mountain panorama of the Salzburg mountains.

At lunchtime and in the evening, our kitchen team will spoil you with Austrian classics and highlights from our own butcher's shop. We use fresh and predominantly regional products to create special dishes. Changing culinary themes constantly open up new culinary worlds and our in-house gourmet weeks are the salt in the soup of Salzburg's award-winning cuisine.
