Scheiblhofer The Resort
With his fine red wines such as "Big John" and "The Legends", he has long been known as a winemaker far beyond the country's borders, and now Erich Scheiblhofer is closing a gap in the immediate vicinity of his Burgenland winery.
With the new 4 star superior hotel The Resort in Andau, he has created a place where wine and gourmet lovers as well as wellness fans, families and business guests can enjoy the region to the full.
Arkan Zeytinoglu, a renowned architect, was recruited for the planning and design concept. The hotel, built in the typical Burgenland Anger style, has 118 rooms and suites with balconies, which are casually luxurious. Furnished in a minimalist style, they offer a cozy place to feel at home with high-quality woods, fine fabrics and muted natural tones.
In addition to the walk-in vineyard, The Resort also boasts its own fruit, vegetable and herb cultivation for the hotel kitchen, a walk-in vineyard and a wine and nature trail for hotel guests.
Another highlight of the wine wellness resort is the spacious spa area. On 4,000 m², guests can enjoy an indoor and outdoor pool as well as a sauna area with textile sauna, herbal sauna, steam bath and Finnish sauna in the indoor and outdoor areas. There are also various massages and beauty treatments. If you want to do something for your stamina and fitness, you will find state-of-the-art equipment in the fitness area. For younger guests, there is the Youngstar Waterworld with baby pool, kids pool, water play world and a trio slide.
At The Infinity restaurant, international culinary highlights are reinterpreted using predominantly regional products for the Legendary Breakfast, Premium Lunch and Great Dinner.
