Jamaica tapped eight-time Olympic gold medalist Usain Bolt as its Global Tourism Ambassador in May 2025. The country’s Tourist Board is celebrating its 70th anniversary this year. Launched on August 6, Jamaica’s Independence Day, the country’s new advertising campaign “Brand Jamaica” features Bolt sharing his personal story and inviting travelers to experience the island’s culture and energy. Bolt will continue to represent Jamaica on the world stage as part of a broader campaign strategy that includes digital storytelling, social media activations, and appearances at key global events. The campaign is designed to deepen the emotional connection between Jamaica and travelers while reinforcing the island’s appeal across its culture, music, cuisine, and natural beauty.

Meanwhile, in St. Lucia, 100-meters sprint athlete Julien Alfred, the country’s first-ever Olympic gold medalist, hosted a one-week fitness immersion workshop at BodyHoliday , the island’s all-inclusive luxury resort, from October 6-11, 2025.
